Grandparents Day: A Full House and a Growing Tradition
For the second year in a row, Grandparents Day has reached full capacity, with every seat filled. This growing tradition reflects the deep value our community places on the role of grandparents in the lives of our students.
Some of the most meaningful influences in a child’s life come from the generations just ahead of them.
Grandparents bring stories, wisdom, encouragement, and faith that help shape the hearts and minds of the next generation. While parents regularly experience the day-to-day life of the school, Grandparents Day offers a unique opportunity to honor and include those whose quiet influence is both lasting and profound.
On April 22, we look forward to welcoming grandparents back to campus for our second annual Grandparents Day. After such a memorable gathering last year, we are eager to open our doors once again and offer a glimpse into the education and community that shape our students each day.
The morning will begin with chapel at 8:00 AM, followed by the Wise Owl breakfast and time with our leadership team, who will share insight and vision for the school. From there, grandparents will move into the classrooms, where they will engage directly in the rhythms of learning. These classroom visits remain a hallmark and highlight of the day, giving grandparents the opportunity to experience their grandchildren’s education firsthand and spend time with each of them.
This year also introduces a new feature: the Carousel of Progress. This showcase will display a variety of student work, including art, thesis papers, and projects, offering a window into the creativity, inquiry, and growth taking place across our classrooms.
We are grateful for the legacy of faith and wisdom that grandparents bring and look forward to a day marked by connection, celebration, and shared joy.
