Our third annual House Canned Food Drive begins on Monday, December 1 and will run through Thursday, December 11. This year our Lower School and Upper School will join together in a school wide effort to support the White River Christian Church food pantry. Each House and each Lower School grade will compete as its own team, with every donated item counting as one point. At the end of the drive we will recognize two winners, one from the Houses and one from the Lower School grades, and celebrate them during the second semester.
We will send home a flyer soon with suggested donation items and full details. Thank you for helping your children take part in an act of generosity that serves families in our community during the Advent season.
You may have heard your students talking about our most recent House competition, the Envelope Challenge. Each House received a set of sealed envelopes, and inside each one was a different task that required teamwork, logic, and quick problem solving. Whitby completed their set in the fastest overall time, which kept them in control of the leaderboard going into December.
