Tuition & Fees

At The Classical Academy we uphold excellence and seek to keep our costs as low
as possible, while still providing quality teachers, a quality program, and a quality atmosphere.
Families at The Classical Academy are not paying for "two or three days of school;" they are investing in a five-day academic program, fulfilling all academic school year requirements.

Books & Uniforms
Families purchase their own books, uniforms, and at-home school supplies. (Upper school 7th-11th grade pays a flat book fee of $400 instead of purchasing individually). The cost of books ranges from $250 to $450 per student per year, depending on grade and whether the books are purchased new or used. Some books and resources may be shared by multiple children in the same family, and used for other siblings in subsequent years. This means that you save non-consumables for siblings coming up, the price is significantly lower for that grade level in years to come. There is a private school Facebook group where families can find books and uniforms that other families are done using. Uniforms are purchased at Lands End.
Refund Policy
The Classical Academy, like other schools, contracts for its facilities, faculty, and staff on an annualized basis. Tuition collection begins before the school year starts to spread payments out for families, and so we can be good stewards and plan accordingly. All enrolled families must sign a financial agreement upon enrollment detailing the following.
  • If parents need to withdraw their child before the first day of school, please contact the Head of School. Once tuition payments have begun, families are legally and financially responsible for the full school year tuition- this includes withdrawals after the first day of school. Because we contract for our facilities, faculty, staff, and materials each year based on actual enrollment, this policy protects our school, staff, and other Academy families from experiencing the strain of imbalanced funding or debt.
  • The Application Fee is refundable if a family does not receive an offer of admission.
  • The Registration Fee is not refundable and is paid after acceptance to The Classical Academy. It is not put towards tuition.

* Kindergarten students must be 5 years old by June 1, 2022 to attend The Classical Academy kindergarten program. Please see our Kindergarten Readiness document within the curriculum tab. We have a wonderful Junior Kindergarten, Classical Beginnings, preschool program that serves students who have turned 4 years old by June 1.
Non-Discrimination Policy
The Classical Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.

The Classical Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or ethnic origin in administration of educational policies, admissions policies, financial policies, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
