Primer School; Kindergarten Cohort A
Monica Hopper
Monica Hopper holds a Master’s in Organizational Leadership and a Certificate in Bible from the University of Northwestern St. Paul. After classically homeschooling her own children and teaching in classical cooperative classrooms, Monica discovered a deep love for not only teaching, but walking alongside parents in the formation of their children. She delights in helping students grow in wisdom, wonder, and clear communication. Prior to her work in education, Monica retired from her career as a Navy communications director with twenty years experience leading large and small teams. She remains passionate about using words to connect with others, communicate truth, and reflect the glory of God.
Monica and her husband EJ live in Pendleton and have five children, the four youngest of which attend the Academy and are schooled by her at home. She loves puzzles and games, can be found singing around the house, and is always down for travel. When God grants her free time, she wants to finish memorizing the book of Romans, become a Biblical counselor, and write a dozen books.
