Kelsey Maddox earned her Bachelor of Science in Education and Reading Specialist Certification from Indiana University. She taught Language Arts for seven years before staying home with her two children. During her time home, she taught preschool fitness classes and pre-K Sunday School. Transitioning her oldest daughter from public school into The Classical Academy for its first school year reinforced her belief that a Christian hybrid model between school and home would best fit her family’s needs.

Kelsey is passionate about fostering a life-long love of learning and serving. Her favorite family activities include exploring parks, cooking, spending time at the lake, and reading aloud. Both of her daughters attend the Academy.
