Destiny Henderson earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Special Education from Ball State University. She taught for seven years before staying home. Along with her experience in the classroom, she has homeschooled her children since 2018. Her favorite part of teaching is witnessing the joy that comes from students when they recognize their academic and spiritual growth.

Outside of the classroom Destiny enjoys reading, baking sweet treats, and playing outdoors with her family. She is passionate about serving in her church and leading women’s ministry in her community. She and her husband, Todd, live in Pendleton with their son and daughter who both attend the Academy.
