Amy Nichols

Amy graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science. After working in the corporate world as a Food Scientist for several years, Amy realized a calling to be involved in education and has been ever since. Amy began her teaching journey at a local private school for a few years, and also started her own successful math and science tutoring business- which she has nurtured for the last 25 years. In her years teaching, she has found value in making science and math applicable, hands on, and exciting for her students.

In her leisure time, Amy applies her math and science skills to cook delicious meals for her husband and two adult children, create custom handbags and wallets, work on photography, garden, and explore various health and wellness topics. Amy loves to passionately guide young minds on their spiritual and educational journey at The Classical Academy.
