Our collaborative model brings the university/college format down to the K-12 school. The Classical Academy provides a full, private, classical, Christian education utilizing two locations: the school AND the home. There is one joint curriculum between home and school. This allows parents to participate in their children’s education while retaining all the benefits of professional teachers and a school community, at a fraction of the cost of a traditional five-day school.
The Classical Academy just graduated its first two classes of seniors and is accredited by The Association of Classical Christian Schools, The Society for Classical Learning, and Middle States Association.

Dean of Upper School (Full-Time)
The Academy is conducting a national search for our next Dean of Upper School. This strategic leadership role will provide oversight of grades 7–12 and help steward the continued growth, development, and long-term vision of our Upper School program. The Dean of Upper School serves as the primary academic and administrative leader for Upper School faculty, students, and families while helping ensure that our classical, Christian mission remains central to all aspects of student formation. College & Career Advisor (Part-Time and Primarily Remote)
The Classical Academy is seeking an organized and student-focused College & Career Advisor to help guide Upper School students and families through the college planning process.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring students, researching educational opportunities, and helping families navigate important decisions. While experience with college admissions, financial aid, and career planning is valuable, we are equally interested in someone who is eager to learn, stay current on admissions trends, and continually grow the Academy’s college advising program.

Marketing & Creative Communications Coordinator
We are seeking a talented and mission-minded individual to serve as the Academy’s primary visual storyteller and brand steward. This position oversees photography, videography, graphic design, marketing support, social media content, and visual communications, helping tell the story of the Academy to current families, prospective families, donors, and the broader community.
This job is primarily off-campus and is best described as a flexible, project-based position rather than a traditional full-time or part-time schedule. Workload varies throughout the year, with busier seasons surrounding admissions, major events, performances, fundraising initiatives, publications, and the start and end of the school year. Some weeks will require a significant time commitment, while others will be lighter. We are seeking a self-directed individual who can manage this ebb and flow while consistently adhering to deadlines and advancing the Academy’s communication and storytelling efforts.

Chapel & Event Production Director (Part-Time)
The Classical Academy is seeking a part-time Chapel & Event Production Director to oversee and conduct weekly Academy chapels and provide technical leadership for major school events. This individual will lead our consistent, liturgical-style chapel gatherings, coordinate worship music, prepare chapel presentations, and guide students through scripture readings, catechism, recitations, and other chapel elements. In addition, this role serves as the Academy’s lead for event technology and production, managing audio, visual presentations, microphones, and technical setup for Recite Nights, Christmas and Spring Programs, Graduation, and other Academy events. The ideal candidate possesses a heart for Christian worship, strong organizational skills, and the ability to create orderly, engaging experiences that support the mission and culture of the Academy.
For candidates whose gifts and availability align more specifically with either worship leadership or event production, the Academy is open to considering the position as two separate part-time roles: Director of Chapel and Director of Events Production. Upper School Open Positions
Our 7th-12th grade students attend campus on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday and work at home on Tuesday and Friday. By this point in the university-schedule student’s education career, they are growing exponentially in their ability to manage their own lessons and studies on their off campus days. Parents do not teach on the home days in 7th-12th grade, rather students are simply completing work for their classes like students would in a college/university.
Teachers are responsible for setting out the 5 days of lesson plans with our curriculum, but only teaching 3 of those days at school while students complete independent work for those classes on the other two days. Teachers are responsible for grading, keeping track of assignments, being a help and guide to students and parents, and all the other traditional aspects of running a classroom. Classes in these upper grades are paid per section or hour.

Upper School Science Teacher (Earth Science & Physical Science)
The Classical Academy is seeking a part-time Upper School Science Teacher to teach Earth Science and Physical Science in grades 7–8. This position serves students within the Academy’s classical, Christian, and collaborative model and is responsible for providing engaging, academically rigorous instruction that cultivates wonder, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of God’s created world.
The ideal candidate possesses strong content knowledge, excellent classroom leadership skills, and a commitment to partnering with parents in the education and formation of students. Responsibilities include lesson planning, classroom instruction, grading and assessment, communication with families, and participation in faculty meetings and professional development activities.
This position is ideal for an educator who enjoys teaching foundational scientific concepts, connecting scientific inquiry to a biblical worldview, and helping students develop both knowledge and wisdom through the study of science.
Mapping (Cartography) Teacher
The Classical Academy is seeking a part-time Mapping (Cartography) Teacher to lead one of our students’ favorite classes. This unique course blends geography, art, and memorization as students learn to draw increasingly accurate maps of the world from memory while listening to classical music in a calm, focused classroom environment.
This is a relaxed, enjoyable class with a well-established curriculum. All lesson plans, materials, and pacing are already prepared, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with students but does not have formal teaching experience. A love of learning, patience, and attention to detail are far more important than previous experience with cartography.

Lower School Classroom Teachers (Part-Time)
We are seeking several Lower School teachers to join our Kindergarten through Second Grade team. These teachers will help cultivate strong academic foundations while partnering closely with parents in the formation of each child’s mind, heart, and character. Ideal candidates will possess a love for young children, a commitment to classical Christian education, strong classroom leadership, and a desire to nurture wonder, virtue, and a lifelong love of learning.
