Amber Pierre

Amber Pierre comes to the Dean of Lower School position as someone whose background has shaped her own calling to teach and lead. From the completion of her bachelor’s degree to her family’s deeply rooted work in Christian education, Amber was led to homeschool her children, lead and teach in church-based children’s ministry, and eventually step into the classical Christian school. 

Before joining the staff at The Classical Academy, Amber served for several years as the Children’s Director at White River Christian Church, her longtime church home. In that role, she led large teams of volunteers and taught regularly in both large-group and small-group settings, and served hundreds of children each week with clarity, warmth, and strong organizational leadership. 

Amber has also worked in both academic and administrative roles at the Christian school her family founded in Haiti and continues to support its educational efforts remotely from Indiana. Since joining The Academy, she has fully immersed herself in the life of the lower school and is excited to support teachers, co-teachers, and the daily operations of our campus. 

Amber and Stev live in Noblesville and have four children whom they homeschooled until joining the Academy in 2022. Amber feels strongly that education is the surest way to shape culture, change lives, and share Christ. She believes doing so while drinking coffee is an even better bet.
