She taught Kindergarten through 3rd grade for several years before transitioning to a K-12 curriculum specialist and teacher for students with Autism. After a couple of years at home with her three children, she enrolled her oldest child at The Classical Academy for Pre-Kindergarten and immediately saw the immense value in classical education as well as the co-teacher model. Alea is passionate about youth programs through her church and youth athletics. Her favorite family activities include traveling, cooking, reading, outdoor adventures, and live music.
