Catie Smiley

Catie Smiley earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Taylor University. She began her career teaching elementary school and tutoring on the North Shore of Chicago before choosing to stay home after the birth of her first child. Since her children enrolled at the Classical Academy in 2019, Catie has served in a variety of roles as both a parent and educator. She is grateful for the opportunity to work alongside the 5th-grade team and the supportive Classical Academy community.

Catie and her husband, Andrew, live in Cicero with their two sons. Their family is actively involved in their local church and the foster care community. Together, they enjoy exploring the outdoors and hiking, with a goal of visiting as many state and national parks as possible.
